Zolpidem.

Zolpidem is a sedative-hypnotic remedy specially deigned for the treatment of insomnia. It can be taken by patients to whom it was prescribed. Make sure you always talk to your doctor before taking this drug, as there may be a number of contraindications you are not aware of. Being a FDA pregnancy category C zolpidem is not supposed to be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women, as it may pass into breast milk and affect the health of an unborn child. Your doctor will need to be informed of any drugs you are currently using, as well as any medical conditions you have that may potentially affect the success of your treatment. The following medical conditions are supposed to be reported: bronchitis, sleep apnea, depression, liver or kidney disease, asthma, myasthenia gravis, and any other ones you think are important. Always take zolpidem before going to bed and make sure you do not eat too much before that moment – this may affect the speed of absorption. Both mild and more serious side effects are possible, but mild ones are more common. They can include diarrhea, eye redness, weakness, heartburn, gas, drowsiness, headache, muscle aches, stomach pain, dry mouth, changes in appetite, constipation, and dizziness.
